He specializes in treating patients with persistent pain in the spine, Complex Regional Pain Syndrome, Disc Pain, Postherpetic Neuralgia, Sciatica, Shingles Pain, and Neuropathic Pain.

Dr. Marascalchi is experienced in performing implantations of spinal cord stimulators for the treatment of unrelenting pain. He also has expertise in clinical anesthesia, epidural placement and spinal anesthesia. His research interests include interventional pain management and spinal deformity.

Bryan has an irrepressible enthusiasm for entrepreneurship, advancing current knowledge, and improving the quality of life of patients and their families. He graduated from the Renée Crown University Honors Program of Syracuse University with a degree in biology and the New York University School of Medicine. While at NYU, Bryan pursued a research fellowship in bioinformatics and biodesign with a specific focus on large database management and analysis, clinical trials, and healthcare software development.

As an anesthesiology resident, Bryan witnessed the mortality and morbidity caused by bag valve masks and responded by pursuing the research and development necessary to solve this problem. This has culminated in the development of a medical device. Bryan is now the founder of Pneumico, Inc. which will produce this compact electronic monitor. The monitor can attach to any bag valve mask and ensure guideline specific parameters set by the American Heart Association (AHA) and European Resuscitation Council (ERC) are met, making sure that lifesaving intervention doesn’t end up creating lifelong problems.

As a fellow, Bryan wished to ensure that all clinicians had access to the best tools available to monitor the compliance, efficacy and benefit of pain management therapy. This culminated in the foundation of the world’s leading dynamic tool for monitoring the compliance, efficacy and benefit of pain management therapy. Through the use of the Pain Scored (painscored.com) platform and its unique reporting process he aims for happier clinicians and healthier patients.
